- As a cub in 2014, Rocky and Cocoa were playful and often rough, with Cocoa disciplining him by targeting his ears when he pushed boundaries.
- Encounter on Tote Road: Rocky was fishing near Josephine’s Cabin, paused to stare for over 10 minutes, then approached before responding to voice cues and returning to fishing.
- Known for being nonchalant, curious, and confident around people without being aggressive.
- In 2022, he was frequently seen in Kenny’s Channel and Kettle, often near females—possibly due to Cocoa’s presence or breeding opportunities.
- Rocky is extremely polite and a trustworthy bear to spend time around with guests. One of Ellie’s favorites.
